Acclaimed Director Selvaraghavan’s ‘Ayirathil Oruvan’ is a scientific thriller. Interestingly the movie is named after the yesteryear blockbuster that starred MGR and Jayalalitha in the lead roles. The movie bought success to MGR that paved way for his long political career. A racy thriller ‘Ayirathil Oruvan’ features Paruthiveeran Karthik Shivakumar and Reema Sen in the lead.. Veteran actor Parthiban comes in guest role, so does the beautiful Andrea Jeremiah of ‘Pachaikili Muthucharam’ fame. The story and screenplay are penned by the director himself. The background score and soundtrack will be composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, who has replaced Yuvan Shankar Raja in the midst of the film. Selvaraghavan is confident that the film could turn out to be a landmark film not only for him but also for the Tamil film industry as well. Despite some unexpected and unprecedented hardships in making the film like short of manpower, equipment, etc. he enjoyed the filming of his favorite script.
