Debutant direct A Jawahar who has trained under Selvaraghavan has given a Dhanush style of movie in Yaaradi Nee Mohini. The film is sure to attract the fans of Dhanush.
Vasu (Dhanush) enjoys every moment of life even though he is without a job and depends on his father Raghuvaran for living. Though his father gets angry with him often, Vasu doesnt take much effort get a job for himself.
But he decides to join work at the moment he sees Keerthi (Nayanthara). Vasu instantly falls in love with Keerthi and follows her to find that she is working in a software company.
He too wants a job in that company, but since he is not a well qualified person, he finds it very difficult to get a job. Finally with the help of Keerthi he joins that company and wins the friendship of Keerthi.
He continue to love her secretly. But Keerthi doesnt even have a slight idea that Vasu is in love with her. When Vasu, confesses his love, Keerthi reveals that she haad been engaged to her cousin Karthick who is one of Vasu’s best friend.
Keerthi who is from an orthodox family gets ready for her marriage as wished by her parents. Is Keerthi in love with Vasu? Whom will Keerthi marry - Vasu or Karthick? What is position of Vasu ? has been said in the climax.
Director Jawahar, who has been given a chance by Selvaraghavan to remake his Telugu film into Tamil has done his job well. The story seens to be tailor-made for Dhanush.
Dhanush whose last film Polladhavan was a super hit, has tried to maintain his success story and ofcourse, he has succeeded in it. Nayanthara is simply superb. Raghuvaran as usual has done a great job.
Karunas who has handled the comedy portion along with Dhanush proves that he has substance. Yuvan Shankar Raja has done a good job an his songs are endearing to the ears. His re-recording needs a mention as it compliments the film.
In short the film has a usual love story but the way it has been packaged would increase its sale.
