Velayudham (Tamil: வேலாயுதம்) is an Tamil action-masala film directed by M. Raja.It stars Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Genelia D’Souza in lead roles. The film was formally launched on July 15, 2010 with its photo shoots taken earlier during the month. Produced by V. Ravichandran’s Aascar Films, the film is currently in its post-production stage and expected to release in September 2011.

The soundtrack is scored by Vijay Antony. The audio right was bought by Sony Music for huge amount. The soundtrack consists of 6 tracks including 1 theme and it’s released on August 28, 2011.
